4:00 PM  –  10:00 PM

Take a trip into the past on our BMT B- and D-Type cars for an evening ride to explore Brooklyn’s Green-Wood Cemetery. During a 3-hour layover, enjoy a picnic dinner and take a guided tour to learn the fascinating stories of Green-Wood’s permanent residents, including baseball legends, politicians, artists, entertainers, inventors, and Civil War generals.
In collaboration with the Green-Wood Historic Fund. Bring your own picnic dinner and a flashlight.
We will depart on the Museum's BMT Standards and D-Type cars from 96th Street-Second Avenue promptly at 4:00pm and take a special route to the 25th Street station in Brooklyn. We will arrive at Green-Wood Cemetery at approximately 5:30 pm for a bring-your-own picnic dinner in the meadow, and then divide into smaller groups for a guided flashlight tour through the cemetery before walking to the 36th Street station's uptown platform as a group for a 9:00pm departure. For the return trip, we will travel back to 96th Street-Second Avenue, making additional stops along the way as time and traffic permits.

Equipment is subject to change.
