Bus Festival

Sunday September 8

Other dates...

10:00 AM  –  3:30 PM

The Transit Museum's unique festival of vintage buses and surface vehicles returns September 8! Explore buses from our vintage fleet, representing more than 80 years of New York City surface transit history. Enjoy photo ops, meet some of the bus drivers who help keep our city moving, and take in the view of the Manhattan skyline from the restored Emily Roebling Plaza underneath the Brooklyn Bridge!

The festival site is located at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park, beneath the Brooklyn Bridge. The closest train stations are Clark Street (2, 3), High Street–Brooklyn Bridge (A, C), and York Street (F). The B25 Bus also stops very close to the festival site.

Advanced registration is encouraged but not required. Registration enters you into a raffle for a chance to win a Family membership to the Museum (a $100 value)!
