Curator Talk: Grand Central and the Tra(i)nsformation of Park Avenue

Tuesday August 4

Other dates...

2:00 PM  –  3:00 PM

The Skyscraper Museum's current exhibition, The Invention of Park Avenue, explores the urban development of Park Avenue in the century since Grand Central Terminal opened in 1913. The blocks from 42nd to 53rd street transformed from railyard to one of the most desirable and prestigious corridors of modern midtown.

Join Carol Willis, founding director and exhibit curator, as she traces changes along the avenue, driven by the links between rail and real estate.

After you book your ticket, you will receive three emails. One will be a receipt, another ticket(s), and the third will include a Zoom link with instructions on how to participate. We encourage you to download the Zoom app in advance for the best user experience.
