Digital Discussion - Hidden Histories: Transportation Stories from Around the City

Thursday November 19

5:30 PM  –  6:30 PM

With a rich history spanning over 100 years, it is no surprise that transit stories can be found in unexpected places all across New York City. From repurposed buildings, to secret laboratories, to Presidential whistle stops, the city is full of locations tied to transit’s past.

Join Education Manager Polly Desjarlais and Associate Curator Jodi Shapiro for a digital discussion and virtual tour of several locations around the city where transit history took place—including some you might not know about!

This discussion will take place online. Upon registration, all participants will receive a confirmation e-mail with instructions on how to participate. We encourage you to download the Zoom app in advance for the best user experience

Please note: If you are a member, $10 will be taken off of your purchase at check-out when you sign in above to verify your membership and select 'Adult-Member' below.
