Subway Portraits with Sirui Ma

Tuesday May 6

Other dates...

2:00 PM  –  3:00 PM

Continuing in the long and storied tradition of subway portraiture, photographer Sirui Ma’s new publication, Subway Portraits, centers subway conductors—capturing them as they work to keep the city moving. Often overlooked and underappreciated in the rush of daily commutes, Ma’s attentive lens allows these conductors to shine as individuals beyond their uniforms.

Join Ma in this virtual program to learn more about the inspiration and process behind her striking series.
