The Subway Is...Storytelling with Pride

Our current exhibit in Downtown Brooklyn explores some of the endless ways to complete the sentence, “The Subway Is…” Facilitated by The Generations Project, join us for a storytelling show to hear transit stories and experiences from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority LGBTQIA+ communities. The program is an opportunity to celebrate and preserve shared histories and build transit connections.

The event is emceed by Bernie Wagenblast, one of the most famous voices of the New York City subway.

Tickets for this event are free. Space is limited, reserved tickets are required. 


Children ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. 

Photography and video recording are permitted. However, tripods, stands, selfie sticks, and external lights may not be used. All photographs taken are for personal use only and permission to photograph may be revoked at any time.
