Transit Walk: Second Avenue

Our expert Museum Educators lead a series of Transit Walks through all five boroughs, examining transportation one neighborhood at a time. Join museum educator Katherine Reeves as she uncovers the history of the Upper East Side’s former elevated trains and the long-awaited Second Avenue Subway. The tour will explore mass transportation’s impact on development and how the area’s architecture, people, and culture connect the neighborhood’s past, present, and future.
