Virtual Transit Walk - The International Express: Flushing, Queens

Saturday April 25

2:00 PM  –  3:00 PM

Explore the rich history of New York City, past and present, one neighborhood at a time.  Through the lens of transportation, discover new places, share stories, and connect with communities.

Join Senior Museum Educator Katherine Reeves at the end of the 7 line, the ‘International Express’, in Flushing, Queens, for a virtual transit walk via Zoom and explore this vibrant neighborhood. Known as the third busiest intersection in NYC and one of the largest Chinatowns outside of Asia, Flushing is a neighborhood filled with a history and a mix of cultures as unique and unexpected as the historic fleet of Redbirds.

Please Note: This discussion will take place online. Upon registration, all participants will receive a confirmation e-mail with instructions on how to participate. We encourage you to download the Zoom app in advance for the best user experience
